Schéhérazade: princesses actuelles



I completed this project as part of my semiology course, where I had to write and create two volumes, one with my thesis and the other with my annexes.
The subject of my thesis is the representation of Eastern women in Vogue Arabia. The entire edition tends to give an impression of evanescence, magic, and myth, which aligns with the content of the edition and the mythologies created.
To further convey the idea of multiple overlapping images of the Eastern woman in the magazine, some pages, such as the chapter pages and the table of contents, are printed with silver foil stamping on tracing paper. 



The project consists of a semiological analysis, an annexes book, as well as a full curation and exhibition design work.
Indeed, I set up an exhibition showcasing Eastern female artists.
